But then, a group of fundamentalist terrorists sabotaged Minerva, turning the AI against humanity. As the world plunged into chaos, a group of top scientists introduced a counter AI persona named Maia to fight against Minerva. But despite their efforts, Minerva emerged victorious and proceeded to eradicate the human race. Yet, all was not lost. Maia managed to take over a cloning facility and tasked you, Commander Class Clone #3147, with the critical mission of establishing new human outposts in remote locations around the world.
