I am not a big racing gamer but this game truly hits different.

Back then I played FH4 and I never really got into it. There's just something lacking for me. But now that I tried FH6, even though the game is fundamentally a similar game only with different settings, it really hooked me.

I think one of the biggest part of it is the setting of Japan. I feel they really nailed the feel for the most part. It felt like a pilgrimage for a lot of people who are familiar with Initial D. The map is not overly huge with a lot of nothing as in FH4. It is more jam packed with activities and off-roads. There's almost no wasted space for the most part. This would be a game where the art team should be proud of because it's mostly because of them that the old formula of FH game truly shines in this game world.

Gameplay wise it's mostly the same as previous FH as far as I know, but now that I am playing this game quite extensively I started to understand and appreciate how the driving itself feels. I think FH did a good job on striking a good balance between arcade feel and simulation feel. It's definitely not as arcade as NFS, but definitely not as simulation as Gran Turismo. It can be challenging, it can be fun, and it definitely can be both. You can literally have fun and spend a lot of time just driving around in this amazing world they have built.

My only complain is it's not performing amazingly on AMD GPU and Linux. With AMD GPU I noticed a few frame dips here and there, and it is worse if you use ray tracing. While on Linux there are just some issues such as some audio channels not working, sometimes you can hear music but not conversations and car sound.

I am enjoying it a lot. Probably one of the most enjoyable experience playing a racing game ever since the old Need for Speed era circa 2004. Truly recommended. You should give it a try.

I waited for this game for 5 years. From the very moment I saw the announcement trailer 5 years ago, I fell in love with Pragmata without a second thought. Everything hooked me: the visual style, the atmospheric environments, the impeccable scene direction. I was so deeply immersed in the anticipation that I devoured every news update, scouring for any bit of information — even the smallest crumbs
I thought the game would come out soon, in 2022… but alas, it didn't happen. Pragmata was delayed many times; it felt like even Capcom didn't know when they would release it. And then, finally, the moment arrived — the official release date was announced: April 24, 2026. When I saw that very illustration of Diana with the final date, tears welled up in my eyes. I was genuinely happy.

Fate played its part: I had a very weak computer that definitely couldn't run the game. But by the time of release, my father had saved up enough to buy me a new PC. I am endlessly grateful to him. As soon as I got the computer, the first thing I did was install Steam and launch the demo version of Pragmata.
And oh my… The gameplay was masterpiece-level. It was "wow" in the best sense. As for the story in the demo — there wasn't much to say: just a short snippet, literally 15 minutes of gameplay
Closer to release, I placed a pre-order for the Deluxe Edition. Pragmata became the first game I ever pre-ordered, and on launch day I woke up very early to be among the first to play.
I finished the game in two days, and within another two days I had completed 97% of the achievements. Right now I'm playing the "Lunatism" mode — and this is probably the only real "challenge" the game can offer. All the other achievements are extremely easy and straightforward

As for the length… Honestly? I expected more after 5 years of waiting. 8 hours of gameplay + 3–4 hours of cutscenes. I understand that Capcom initially positioned the game as a narrative-driven experience, but they could have added more story content. Capcom has never crafted genius-level plots like Kojima, but in my opinion, this is a good story — a short tale that left an impression on me. Still, Death Stranding affected me about three times more than Pragmata. That said, I did get an emotional impact from Pragmata. The song "Memories Are you" by Yasumasa Kitagawa, Yu-Ka is especially sad

For me, Pragmata is like watching a movie rated 7 out of 10. The visuals are simply stunning, the scene direction is very good, the environments are gorgeous, and the story isn't terrible — it's quite decent

As someone who waited 5 years for this game, I will play it till I'm blue in the face, take part in the community, and keep myself entertained by completing the game in different ways. Pragmata remains something special for me — despite all its rough edges

Thanks, Capcom

Update: I got the platinum. And I'm glad I finished this game with platinum
