Honestly one of the best RPG games out there, albeit the game first debuted in the early Playstation 2 console.

You play as Haseo, the MC, in your quest to find a way to uncover the mystery behind Shino's coma (his close acquaintance), while getting stronger in the MMORPG "The World". And along the way, you'll encounter a lot of ups and downs as your character grows and progresses throughout his journey. Meeting new friends, discovering the secrets of "The World", and even reuniting with his old friends before he became a notorious PKK.

The story progression: I'd say it was laid out pretty well. The game does not bombard you with information right from the beginning. Each event, may it be part of the main quest or side quest aligns pretty well and allows you to actually absorb the story.

Gameplay: Don't expect much from a PS2 game as compared to the other games under the same genre nowadays. However, it still pretty fun and unique in its own way. The controls are simple enough, the battle sequence is pretty okay.

Music/Voice acting: The BGM is an easy 10/10. You can literally just sit in the background and listen to it for hours or while doing something else for how good it is, especially the one at the Hulle Grantz Cathedral. The VAs that gave life to the characters also nailed on the voice acting.

Others: There's also a bunch of stuff that you can navigate through the game. Such as having its own forums page, news page, wikipedia and lore pages about the game.

All in all, its a must try and I would totally recommend it!

In this first chapter, the game exposes Haseo's lack of personal growth as he continues to level up, to be strong enough for him to face the suspected perpetrator for Shino's illness. But due to an unforeseen turn of events, his first clash with Tri-edge ended with him losing all of his hard work and resetting his character back to level 1. And this is where his true story begins.
