If you have played the main Robocop game and you enjoyed it, you'll definitely enjoy this one too. Although I have quite a mixed sentiment about the game, but if you can get it on sale it's easily an easy buy for me. The game follows the story after the previous Robocop game. It's a standalone expansion but it's definitely better if you played the previous game first.

First and foremost, the combat is still as fun as ever. Becoming a virtually indestructible and unstoppable force against the enemies never gets old. I think a single player FPS game like this is quite a rare breed nowadays and this game helps on scratching that itch.

On the later part of the game, I also got reminded that this game have a really nice soundtrack.

Unfortunately, this game has its own flaws. Despite the game is set on an apartment complex (reminding me of Dredd), rather than an open area like the previous game, the performance is shockingly poor compared to the previous game. While for the most part the game is running well, you'll ultimately remembered that this game is based on Unreal Engine 5 and it brings the curse alongside it, i.e. the micro stutters and inconsistency throughout the game, albeit looking pretty at the same time.

Interestingly, it was not the biggest flaw for me. It's the sound mixing instead. I don't know what happened under the hood, but this game sound mixing is all over the place. Sometimes you get sounds that has low volume, then in the next scene you get loud music and noise blasting.

Will all those complaints though, it's still a good game and it doesn't deterred me from enjoying the game. I think the most interesting part of the game is when they give you a flashback story of some people and you are playing those levels from their perspective. There are level where you are put into some uncomfortable situation and you actually feel the anxiety, there are level where you are feeling vulnerable, etc. I am glad that they managed to convey the message well and make you feel something.
