He awakens in a strange parallel dimension known as the Void, a realm caught between worlds. There, Will discovers he is not alone: the Void is home to a menacing alien race called the Watchers, as well as a community of stranded humans known as the Survivors, who have long been locked in a desperate struggle against their otherworldly oppressors. Driven by a single burning desire, to find a way home to Earth, Will reluctantly throws in his lot with the Survivors, taking up their fight against the Watchers as he searches for an escape from the Void.
