Each stage is structured as a branching text adventure in which the player makes choices that determine which scenes unfold, which enemies appear, and which items are obtained. Combat is round-based with automatic resolution: the player composes a party of doraemon, his friends, and accompanying comic aliens in advance, sets skill priorities, and watches the turns execute. Skills fall into attack, defense, and support categories and may be combined with collected equipment and doraemon's secret gadgets to form personalized builds. Stages can be replayed indefinitely with roguelike variation. Skill rolls, item drops, and branching event outcomes differ between runs, so the same stage can be approached with different builds on subsequent attempts. Skills and equipment obtained during a run are retained in a persistent collection that can be drawn from in future runs, while certain items reset each run as part of the roguelike loop.
