Then, once you have built your forces, emerge from the darkness and guide your army to the light of the overworld, where you will corrupt the land and dispatch anything even vaguely heroic, cute or unicorn-shaped. And in a first for the Dungeons series, experience randomly generated levels, so that no two sessions are alike – never-ending fun for any evil conqueror! Shortly after the events of Dungeons 2, the tyrannical Dungeon Lord grows restless, having already conquered the lands above and now craving fresh territory to corrupt. His attention turns to a new continent, a peaceful realm ruled by the noble paladin Tanos alongside his companions, including the gruff dwarf king Grimli, the vain paladin Elric the Pretty, and the greedy Yaina Overproud. Tanos has taken in a young dark elf sorceress named Thalya, hoping to nurture away the darkness he senses within her and steer her from evil. The Dungeon Lord has other plans. Casting a spell that seizes control of Thalya and unleashes her buried malice, he twists the young sorceress into his willing chief lieutenant. Now consumed by her dark side and thirsting to punish Tanos for trying to change her, Thalya sets out to conquer the continent piece by piece in the Dungeon Lord's name.
