The tale begins with the Wylder, a greatsword-wielding Nightfarer fleeing through the dark before confronting a dreaded figure known as the Fell Omen. Waking at the Roundtable Hold, the Wylder is greeted by the enigmatic Priestess, who reveals the Nightfarers' grim purpose: to hunt down and destroy the powerful Nightlords and put an end to the Night itself.
