While connected to the original "Stella Deus" and its predecessor, "The Spirit of Darkness," it is a standalone story that is enjoyable whether you continue playing from the previous title or play this title alone. While the previous title, "The Spirit of Darkness," was easy enough for first-time players, this title is challenging enough for even hardcore players. A new story spanning 50 stages begins in the familiar "Cave of Ordeals" from the previous title.
