The adventure begins when Sackboy is swept through a wormhole into the whimsical world of Bunkum, where he is greeted by Newton, a bumbling but well-meaning lightbulb person. Newton shares an urgent tale: three powerful Titans, long ago sealed away in a tin by Bunkum's ancient heroes, are in danger of being unleashed once more, a catastrophe that could throw the entire world into chaos.
