In battle each mobile suit has access to a melee attack, a primary ranged attack, and additional ranged weapons based on its design. All ranged weapons have limited ammo that can not be replenished, as well as an alternate fire mode. Boosting and dashing can be used to avoid fire or clear distance between targets, but depletes a fuel gauge. Bringing an enemy mobile suit to a disabled state with weak attacks allows the player's MS to cannibalize it for armor and fuel replenishment.
