You begin your journey as a low-ranking recruit at Team Rocket’s headquarters on Inta Island, part of the Sevii Islands. Your goal is to rise through the ranks by successfully completing the missions assigned to you by your superiors. The story takes place during the same timeline as the original Red and Blue adventures. Eventually, you’ll be transferred to Kanto, where you’ll witness key events from the classic Pokémon storyline — but from the perspective of a Team Rocket member. You'll uncover what was happening behind the scenes (with a nod to fan theories), aiming to keep everything as canon-compliant as possible while still introducing a few surprises. This ROM hack allows you, as an anonymous Rocket grunt, to do everything in your power to change the classic outcome where Team Rocket and Giovanni are ultimately defeated by Red.
