But as you are travelling across Hoenn, you soon discover the region is falling under the shadow of a mysterious group known as Team ZamSon. As Steel-type Pokémon begin appearing in unusual places and technological malfunctions spread across the land, Steven Stone’s suspicions point to Devon Corporation—and its CEO, Mr Stone—as the true mastermind behind the chaos. Joining forces with Hoenn’s Gym Leaders and Steven himself, you set out to uncover the truth behind Operation: Wish Maker, a plan to harness the mythical Pokémon Jirachi and its power to reshape Hoenn. But when tragedy strikes and your childhood friend and rival is gravely injured during the turmoil, your journey becomes personal. What began as an adventure of discovery now transforms into a fight driven by grief and determination—one that leads all the way to the Pokémon League, where you must confront Mr Stone and his machine-fused Tech Form Pokémon in a final battle for Hoenn’s future. In the aftermath, empathy replaces ambition. With Jirachi’s power restored, one final wish is made — not for conquest, but for a second chance. Pokémon Starwish — where courage rewrites destiny.
