Jaden studies under veteran Jedi Kyle Katarn alongside a fellow student, Rosh Penin, but their arrival coincides with an attack in which a mysterious figure drains energy from the site using a strange staff. As Jaden takes on peacekeeping missions across the galaxy, the threat is traced to a Dark Jedi cult seeking to harness Force energy for its own ends. Throughout the journey, Jaden must develop their abilities and choose whether to follow the light side or give in to the dark side.
