One day at Marisa Kirisame's home in the Forest of Magic of Gensoukyou, a letter arrives there. Not knowing what this is about apart from giving an excuse for violence, it says "Marisa!! Help!! Walking through the forest, Marisa encounters Rumia wearing a Yoshi suit who says that the "princess" (Patchouli) has been kidnapped. It's then up to Marisa to travel across Gensoukyou to save her.
