Following the defeat of the monstrous serpent king Orochi, the strange dimensional world that fused the heroes of China's Three Kingdoms era with those of Japan's Warring States period at last knew a fragile peace. That calm was never destined to last. Former officers of the shattered Orochi army broke away to forge kingdoms of their own, while other ambitious warlords raised fresh armies in the power vacuum left behind. Amid the growing turmoil, a sinister scheme takes shape in the shadows, one aimed at reviving the greatest evil the world has ever faced: Orochi himself. As warlords clash for dominion over this merged realm, scattered heroes and a group of enigmatic mystics must take up arms once more to stop the demon king's return.
