It's 3am when the phone buzzes. A new app has installed itself. It's called tally, and it grants wishes — the crush, the rival, the friend, all suddenly within reach. But wanting has a number, the app keeps a ledger, and the people being wished about have started to change. Every wish is granted. Every wish is owed. The only question that matters: what do you actually owe?
