When Captain James’s helicopter crashes deep inside a quarantine zone, survival is no longer about the mission — it’s about enduring the nightmare. Cut off from his unit and surrounded by a world consumed by the undead, James must rely on a faint radio signal from Lora, a distant voice guiding him through the ruins of Fort Apex and beyond. Each step forward drags him deeper into a land where death doesn’t rest and survival demands more than just bullets. As James struggles to restore communications and unlock the satellite uplink, he discovers remnants of humanity’s last desperate experiments — combat drones, fortified camps, and shards of grotesque bio-weapons hidden within the monsters themselves. These fragments grant him powers he never asked for, blurring the line between soldier and something far darker. Every fight, every shard, carries the weight of a choice: use the power to survive, or be consumed by it. From toxic streets drowned in green haze to a hospital echoing with horrors that never stayed dead, the journey tests James’s courage and sanity. The undead aren’t the only threat — the world itself twists and traps him in endless loops of terror, forcing him to face nightmares that grow stronger with every encounter. Yet with each battle, James edges closer to escape, his strength growing in ways even he doesn’t fully understand. But escape won’t come easy. The interference crippling the skies hides something far worse than the dead — an intelligence lurking in the shadows. To reach the extraction point and earn his way out, James must stand against waves of unrelenting hordes, wielding both steel and the cursed powers now running through his veins. The question remains: will he leave as a man… or as something else entirely?
