Over the years I got less and less interested and engaged with open-world games, but I really enjoyed this game. I love the exploration aspect of Hogwarts and the open-world itself is not riddled with too much stuff, but enough to scratch the itch of open-world game.
All the spells available and how combat works can be quite awkward at first to control, but when you get the hang of it and find your own playstyle, it is nothing short of satisfying experience. You feel that you are getting good, quicker, and stronger over time.
The main story is good, but the side stories are better. I really like the dynamics and the relationships with characters you'd meet along the way.
It is such a fun experience to see Hogwarts and the world surrounding it come to life.
Side note: Whenever I play this game on Linux, I would get a hard crash aka can't do anything else except hard resetting my PC, every now and then. So I had to switch to Windows to get better experience.
