Though it didn't have as much impact on me as the first Nier game, I love this for being the biggest pipedream project a fan of video games could think of. A sequel to one of the most niche games ever made and the sequel is being made by Platinum Games near their peak? An impossible ask on paper and yet it happened. Absolutely insane.
