I feel like this might be a hot take, I'm not sure, but Shield has marked the beginning of a new era for mainline Pokemon games. I call it the "I'm Not Playing These Anymore" era. Including SwSh, the games recently have been totally lacking in creativity, starting to look and feel like... just any other game nowadays. The quality has fallen off, in my opinion. I can attribute some of my strong opinions to the games having to adapt to be played on switch, but to an extent. The curry looks really tasty, though. I'll give it half an extra star for making me really hungry.

Got it day one after loving the first game. It was really fun for a couple years, then it slowly started just... falling off. A bunch of strange decisions made by Bungie led me to become disinterested in the game after years of playing, especially after they added Stasis. Especially after a 100 GB update to the already 200+ GB game. Loved the emotes, though— Destiny's always had some of my favorite emotes. I was dripped out too bro.
