This is an incredible jRPS, no doubts about it, and you'll definitely have a good time if you like the genre. But it does become repetitive and dragging towards the last part of the game.

I personally am also not a huge fan of Tales battle system, and there is SO MUCH fighting in this game.

It could have been such a great game, but it falls short in its own gameplay.

The storyline is great and interesting to follow, and I am a sucker for story-first games. But wandering around the same locations is super annoying. It's slow and gets repetitive very quickly. It also took me forever to remember the locations and paths between them.

The dialog animation was also annoyingly slow, but I discovered it has a setting for "instant dialog“. It was a big improvement as I turned it on.

Overall, the game is good, but the quests are not very creative. They can be very repetitive.

So Dredge can be a drudge ;)

It was a good game when it came out. Right now, it feels a bit outdated. But it's still worth finishing for the story's sake.

Very solid indie game with absolutely ridiculous numbers of mechanics and types of gameplay. It felt like I’d played ten different games in one.

A lot of fun!
