Hidden Object Games/HOGs have become a guilty pleasure for many people. What seems to be your average point and click game, HOG's takes point and click and puzzle games and combines them together, resulting in many addicting titles. Horror HOG's rarely exist but True Fear Forsaken Souls happens to combine HOG's point and click brain teaser and horror perfectly, making it one of the best HOG's to come out in recent times. This is the first of a trilogy of games and does feel tame on the horror, only showing certain horrifying scenes, which is good for easing people into horror gaming. But does make some hardcore horror fans feel a slight bit of disappointment. I did try and play the bonus chapter for it to crash on me. If you want an puzzle game with slight horror elements in it then play True Fear Forsaken Souls Part 1 and if you like it consider trying the other two games in the series.
As the father of First Person Shooters I respect the cultural impact that Doom has left. The three stars are less for Doom and more for Doom 2. Doom 1 being the FPS game that defined all FPS games. Its fun factor is told through how you play with 6 guns at your disposal you are forever on the run and gunning down everything you see. The game is perfectly balanced with an odd bit of difficulty spike in later stages. Doom 2 however throws too much too quick, so the player will certainly find it harder to progress especially in early levels. My advice is to play the first game if you just want fun and the second game if you think you're ready for the challenge ahead
