Astalon: Tears of the Earth

A solid metroidvania. Although I generally don't love the retro aesthetic it worked well and the gameplay mechanic of switching between 3 characters was also fun. Exploration was overall good, but what held the game back was that starting over at the entrance after every death was too annoying. Fast travel was OK, but it could take significant effort to get back to where you were.
