Gas Snake

A really fantastic soulslike. Combat is a lot of fun and the exploration/map design is top notch. Most bosses provide the good kind of challenge. Stumbles a little bit in the last chapter but it does not take away from an otherwise great game. Second only to Lies of P in non-FROM soulslikes.

An extremely fun game that makes me see why the series is so beloved. The remake makes the gameplay modern and smooth while really retaining the feel of RE1. The first time through the game I loved, and the tension that Mr. X adds is great. Having to go through the game a second time for the "full story" (even though little is different) is less great.

A great game, particularly for it's time. Amazing how much game it can stretch out of what is not that big a map. Gameplay is still fun even if dated, but modern games have easily surpassed this.

There are things to enjoy, like trying to add wrinkles to the battle system, but playing the same game essentially three times over is awful.

Extremely good. A great story, great characters, gameplay is simple (b/c of the type of game) but is fun enough. The choices at least feel impactful and I beat it quickly because I couldn't put it down.
