Great game!
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of storytelling. I expected a sandbox experience like "This War of Mine" or "Frostpunk," but this game has a solid plot.
It combines the best of both worlds: a base-management sim and a story-driven game. Neither is perfect, but they complement each other well, so you never get bored.
If you enjoy base-management sims but drop them without finishing because they got repetitive, give "The Alters" a try. It might be just the game for you.
